The Freighter Wall Light is based on an original fitting from a coastal freighter circa 1890, shown here in Polished finish. It is constructed from solid copper and is complete with badge, brass rivets and details to give it an authentic nautical feel. This light fitting is individually hand-crafted, assembled and finished. In view of this, slight differences in colour and detail may occur between fittings. It will also age and mellow with time and in particular if you are purchasing several fittings over a length of time you should expect different patinas on older and newer fittings. The assembly is commonly hand-soldered and there may be an amount of solder visible in the joints.
