DescriptionThe Book of Kells is one of the most important Irish manuscripts.It was hand written in approximately 800A.D. and decorated with various Celtic designs.One of the designs used to embellish the page border was a Celtic bird design.This stylised design shows the bird in full flight and is abstract in style.This wall plaque is sculpted and hand cast by Colm Mc Cann in studio.The wall plaques in the images shown are the coldcast brass finish and the coldcast pewter finish.The plaque is 195mm x 150mm in size and is avaliable in three finishes,Bronze, Brass and Pewter.
