The term trinity knot refers to the Holy Trinity, Father , Son and Holy Spirit. The three sided knot is also supposed to be linked with the Celtic belief of reincarnation , the endless cycle of birth, life and death. No matter which meaning that is used to explain this design, it still retains a magical quality.
