1856 antique print of Sabachtsché, Yucatan. After a drawing by Frederick Catherwood and engraved by S H Kimber. The print is part of a set published by Harper & Brothers in New York in 1856 for Incident of Travel in Yucatan, looking at Mayan sites and buildings in Yucatan, Mexico. The prints are 4 by 7 inches with the overall paper size of 5 1/2 by 9 inches. The engraving is in very good condition for it’s age, paper will show ageing, marks, crease mark across print, please see pictures. Rare print with good margins for framing.
