I HIGHLY recommend setting down a moving blanket or some type of soft cover to set everything on. The rack ended up with a free scratches in it from me putting it together on the pavement without any form of protection. Lining it up on the brackets properly definitely takes 2 people and I definitely recommend putting some type of cloth on your roof to protect it when mounting the rack. Only complaint I have is their lightbar bracket. It could be made to allow deeper lightbars. The angle of the brackets makes it so the bar I have has to be slightly angled down to fit on.
